Kristina and I went out today and did our new monthly shoot for the second time. Kristina has been wanting to photographer her antique (creepy) dolls for a long time so we decided to take them downtown for a little fun. It was SO fun. They were perfect for anywhere we put them. Towards the end we found a dead giant black widow and a birds wing right where we were shooting. They kind of needed to be in the shots. We were totally creeped out. Completely. But they turned out so great.
They are so fun to alter in photoshop and make even funkier. These are a few of my favorites from the shoot. I randomly put different effects on them to see how it changed the image. My favorites are the cat (ha, totally not within our theme) and the close up BW face. I kind of want that one printed in like a 4×4 and framed with a big wide mat. I think it will be good office decor.

Hey Allison,
These are really cool shots! It looks like you guys had a lot of fun. I agree about the doll face – what a neat shot!!! Hope you and the boys are well. Addison’s grown so much, I got a cool shot of him in the snow the other day. (It’s up on my blog.) I can’t believe it snowed at our house in Alpine!
Blessings,
Aubrey
I love the image of the B/W doll face, also and the one of the brunette doll in front of the door, shot from above. The black widow and the birds wing are pretty creepy. Yuck! I hate spiders and especially black widows. I remember when we lived in Oregon a few years back their webs were really strong and that was how you could tell if you had one nearbly. (shivers)
so, these are a little creepy…………just my style. KC
