Hello and welcome to my photography website. My name is Alison Beachem and I am a photographer in San Diego, California. I photograph families, kids, babies and teens. My photography style is very relaxed. Capturing the connections between people rather than the connection with the camera. I love the simple interactions between parents and children that make up so much of life. I want to capture the essence of what makes your family just that… yours.
I only use natural light which makes for a lively atmosphere without lights and staging. Shooting at your home or on location in San Diego offers variety and spontaneity. Some favorite places for family photos are at the beach, balboa park, downtown, San Dieguito park, and your home. But we can go anywhere. The best photographs happen with a lot of play and just being who you are as a family. The less everyone tries, the better everything turns out.
